We also visited Troop 12 for a day of hiking around the lake (3 miles), knot tying, tent setup, fire building and lots of good food.

As a nice treat, the boys got to tour a Blackhawk helicopter. We even watched it land and take off.

New school, new Scouts and a new pinewood derby racetrack. 45 Scouts entered cars
this year and there was even an open class for adults and Scout siblings. Next year, I'm in.

We were graced with a few inches of fresh snow just before this year's Scout Yukon.

The Scouts had a great time at the Yukon. Activities included tug of war, sledding, dodge ball,
kick ball, penguin walk, a hike and learning how to use a compass.

At the Launch, the boys had a lot of fun stamping leather,
riding in the push carts,
shooting bottle rockets, tug of war and practicing archery.

As our last outing of the year for Wolf Scouts, we went ice skating at the Pepsi Ice Center.
