Hair Donation

The Hair Donation

2010
In late 2010, after my back surgery, I decided to grow my hair out for a while, a long while. Once I finally convinced Steffanie that I wasn't completely crazy, she hesitantly complied and I was on my way to my mid-life crisis. Here I am convalescing post-surgery with an Edible Arrangement from Steffanie's family.

It'll be a while before my hair gets to the awkward phase. (December)

Donation Day... 4/20. BTW, that wallpaper behind me is gone now.

Roxy put my hair into several "haystacks" for maximum donation.

Time to clip off the stacks and clean it up.

The clippings all went into a bag and were sent to Pantene Beautiful Lengths.
Pantene turns hair donations into free wigs for women who have lost their hair to Cancer treatments.

All cleaned up! Some even said it took years off me. No wonder Steven Tyler looks so old...
