The loss of a pet is never easy. The sadness can bring the strongest person to their knees.
And the rhetorical words, “I will never own another”, will pass many lips.
But the moment we remember that we are all mortals; that there is a time and place for
all of us, we can move on. We can again welcome more little friends into our lives
to share new memories with.
And although new friends will enter our lives, the ones who have left us will never
be forgotten. The memories of their companionship through our own ups and downs;
the unconditional love they have shown us, will forever be locked away in the most
sacred places of our heart.
Rex, you will always be missed.
